Oh, hai! I read books, then I write down what I think of them.
I wanted to like this book. It's well written, has some great imagery - a film version would be spectacular in the right hands - and an interesting premise, but that's all it has.
The story is slow to non-existent. The narrative jumps back and forth in time which is somewhere between confusing and redundant: I probably couldn't provide you with a linear timeline but, to make things worse, I don't think it matters. The romance is particularly badly done with not enough character development.
All in all, disappointing, so I'll give it 2 stars.
